Brabham wins in return to racing

It’s been a big weekend for the Motus One team and our client Brabham Automotive with the Brabham BT62’s Maiden race at the famous Brand’s Hatch circuit in the UK.

With our very own MD Will Powell and David Brabham himself at the helm, the Brabham took pole position in qualifying on Saturday morning.

Then, as the light faded and the rain fell, the duo followed up with an outstanding performance, ultimately finishing the hour-long Britcar Race into the Night in first place with a lead of around 20 seconds.

On a roll from Saturday’s victory, Sunday’s race got off to an equally positive start with the Brabham back in pole position. Will Powell took the first leg, leading the field and achieving the fastest lap before sadly having to retire the car due to an electrical issue.

But with Saturday’s victory, along fastest laps achieved in both races, the whole team were able to finish the weekend in celebration.
